Hi There, I'm Michael.

DevOps Engineer and Systems Administrator who loves to tinker and learn new things.

Design and maintain systems for production, staging, and on-premises web hosting environments. From physical hardware in a datacenter to AWS virtual resources. Tech used: Dell EMC, Ubiquiti, OVH, AWS, Vultr, Digital Ocean.
Manage all internal and client-facing systems ranging from shared hosting servers to dedicated client resources. Tech: Linux, Proxmox, Docker, cPanel/WHM, Laravel Forge, Laravel Cloud, DNS, CDNs, S3 Storage.
Spearheaded a new internal tooling platform (Laravel) for developers to interface with IT systems securely; helped maintain the internal developer CLI written in Go.
Research and present new technologies to leadership and developers, including AI-assisted coding, and implement best practices.
Responsible for on-premises GitLab server and CI/CD workflows. Streamlined processes using scripts, n8n, and BrowserStack.
Implemented monitoring using UptimeKuma, Grafana, and InfluxDB.

CircleVM — VPS hosting company with its own colocation space in Indianapolis, own BGP network (ASN), and public IP addresses. Started in April 2024. It was acquired in June 2026.
Exodo IT — IT consultancy focused on Senior Home Care. Provide Windows support, networking, new office setup, vendor relations, and AI integration.

IndyIX is a non-profit Internet Exchange in Indianapolis. As a founding board member, I co-founded it with two other network operators and serve on a volunteer basis. We enable networks to exchange traffic for free, bringing lower-cost connectivity to content networks and internet providers.
